One of the most famous manuscripts containing the Old Testament in the Greek version of the Septuaginta is the Bible of Niketas, studied and published by Hans Belting and Guglielmo Cavallo.
This codex, written in the 10th century, contains the mention of the emperor Justinian I and his general Belisar in the colophon, copied from the model.
For the Catena-manuscripts containing the Bible with commentary in the margin, there is the evidence in the Codex Zacynthius for the New Testament (Gospel according to St. Luke with commentary), written in the 6th century in majuscule of different size, that this type of manuscripts is already attested in one preserved codex in Late Antiquity.
This case is of interest for the explanation of parallels between Hebrew and Greek manuscripts containing the Old Testament with commentary in the margin showing the same layout: Models from Late Amtiquity have been used independently in different cultures during the Middle Ages.
