Abstract

This article presents an overview of the dynastic aspect of the sculptural program of Mausoleum at Halicarnassus. In the political turmoil of the 4th c. BC this monument became an important tool for the Hecatomnids, who wanted to show the legitimacy and continuity of their rule.
