Abstract

Орнаментика группы византийских рукописей константинопольского происхождения конца IX—первой четверти XI вв. (элементы классических и псевдокуфические мотивы) представляет новые данные для рассмотрения проблемы взаимодействия между византийским и мусульманским искусством в Македонский период. Популярность этих мотивов в византийском искусстве засвидетельствована в памятниках архитектуры, мозаиках и фресках, ювелирных изделиях, керамике, тканях. Используя псевдокуфические элементы, византийские ремесленники придавали своим изделиям оттенок экзотики.
