Аннотация

В предлагаемой статье исследуется монументальная архитектура Царского некрополя Саламина (Кипр) VIII–VI вв. до н. э. В поисках возможных прототипов и параллелей саламинским гробницам авторы анализируют обширный круг погребальных памятников, в том числе открытых на территории Кипра в последние десятилетия. Специфика погребальной архитектуры рассматривается в контексте становления, существования и взаимодействия городов-царств Кипра, а также сложной политической и этнико-культурной ситуации в регионе. Авторы приходят к заключению, что в стремлении создать некий универсальный тип элитного погребения строители и заказчики саламинских гробниц приняли за точку отсчета элементы микенской культуры, усвоенные на протяжении длительной истории контактов с Эгеидой. Локальные традиции, контакты с Малой Азией и Левантом также сыграли свою роль. Однако решающим фактором в архитектурном оформлении погребений выступил обряд, имеющий если не истоки, то параллели в эгейском мире. Именно он определил параметры, формы, основные архитектурные акценты и принципы планировочных решений.
