The article is dedicated to the children’s images in the work of the three most prominent court portrait painters of Spain of the 16th and 17th cc. — Alonso Sanchez Coello, Juan Pantoja de la Cruz and Diego Velazquez. The most striking works, in the author’s opinion, have been chosen for the analysis; some of them are described and analyzed for the first time. |
