Graduated from the Department of History of Art, St. Petersburg State university. Completed a postgraduate course at the Faculty of Architecture, Repin Academy of Fine Arts. In 1998 was awarded with the “Young specialist in Art History” prize. Got the Northern European Countries Ministry Council scholarship in 2000 (Stockholm, Sweden). In 1994-2005 worked at the Department of Education, The State Hermitage Museum. In 2001-2008 worked as a senior lecturer at St. Petersburg Christian university. From 1998 has been teaching at the Stieglitz's State Academy of Monumental and Industrial Arts and Design.

In 2004 got a scholarship from Merdrisio Academy of Architecture (Ticino, Switzerland). From 2005 has worked at the Department of History of Russian Art, St. Petersburg State university.

Ekaterina Stanuykovich-Denisova is the author of more than 50 articles on the history of architecture.

Ekaterina is the editor in charge for the “Actual problems of theory and history of art” compendiums and the secretary in charge for the “Actual problems of theory and history of art” conference. She is a member of the Russian Union of Artists.
