Ph. D. in Culture, PhD in Art history, professor at the Department of Cultural heritage and Museum studies (Faculty of Philosophy), docent. Lectures at St. Petersburg Christian university.

Member of International Association of Art Critics and St. Petersburg Philosophical society.

Born in Moscow. From 1958 has lived in St. Petersburg. Graduated from the Bonch-Bruevich State University of Telecommunications and later got a degree from Faculty of Art History at the Academy of Arts. She completed her first PhD in art history in 1990. In 2006 she completed her second PhD “Genesis of cultural and religious meanings in Russian art: from icon painting to avant-garde”.
